Procrastionation

I am the master of procrastination. Just thought I would let you know in case perhaps you thought that you held this prestigious title.

It is spring. I think that for the most part we all agree about that. The calendar says so anyway. What do people do in the spring? They clean of coarse. What is Chris doing? Trying to do anything else but clean. Always when it is time to get down to it, I can come up with a bazillion things that are way, way more pressing and urgent and have the talent to convince myself that this is so.

This morning I had good intentions. What did I do all morning?

I played with the dog. This is very important folks. He could get a complex if I don't give him enough attention.

I did some puzzles on facebook. It would be a terrible thing if I were to drop in my puzzle ratings.

I spent some time doing some on line research. I really really want to know how much money there is in recycled grease. Don't ask! Just thank Expatick for this new obsession.

I checked everybodies status on facebook. It is important to know that everybody made it through the night alright.

I went outside and vegetated. It is important to get my vitamin D.

I downloaded pictures. Isn't this cute? This was definitely worth spending time on!

I got as far as bringing the ladder inside and gathering up the laundry. It is something people!

Most of important of all, I posted!

I like that! To see that I am not the only one having days of procrastination! It makes me feel less guilty!

Now, just to be clear... Are you the master of procrastionation? Or procrastination? Cause I think those might be different things, in which case you might not have to fight Diana and Mo for the title. Maybe they'd like to mud wrestle for the procrastination title and you could just keep the procrastionation one for yourself?

Just trying to help.

Alright Mrs school teacher. So it is not even a real word! I am comforted by the fact that when I googled it, I was not the only one to spell it that way. Some very nice professional sites spelled it that way! Check it for for yourself. I am not alone. I AM NOT ALONE!!!! Whew.

As far as I am concerned, the most important thing to do on a nice Spring day, is to take your knitting out to the deck and watch the ducks and the geese.

LOL! I have to agree that posting is the biggest feat to overcome while procrastinating. So I applaud you :)

You did better than me. At least you got out in the sunshine and played with the dog.
