Fair Weather

Eh? Pretty nice! My new bicycle. The tag is still on it.
21 speed...I really like the new type of shifters they make now.
Lake Diefenbaker off Gardener Dam

Power Generators

Angela and Noah at the dam
It was lots of fun throwing rocks!

Baby Blackbird found in a low bush.
Its parents were never far away.
Non stop squawking!

When ever I would move one of the parents decided it was necessary to distract me by squawking. The other would go in to feed the baby. We put the baby back in the tree. It kept coming back to the bush. In a couple of day it will be able to fly for real.

The day was beautiful! Lots of sunshine and most importantly...no wind! That is such a rare thing in Saskatchewan. Usually as soon as we get a sunny day, the wind starts to blow. As the lake had very little in the wave activity area, John was able to try out his canoe with his new motor. It worked out well. I sat on the beach and fried. I guess I did not have sum screen on my shoulders properly. Ouch! Now I am a lobster for a few days, then I will turn into a snake and shed my skin.

I burned a bit yesterday, too. And that was with SPF45 sunscreen. It was +37 yesterday.

I like your bike - except the tires are really skinny. I like your lake, too. And the baby bird. Looks like you're all set for whatever happens. =)

Sounds like a good time! Do you tent/cabin/motor? I've always wanted to take the kids to Lake diefenbaker.

This is the Summer!

We just went for the day. The water was too cold for swimming.

Love your bike!! Now did you enjoy that ice cream or did you still feel your fingers itch to squirt John with that water gun? Poor man, he must be suffering so badly with a girl like you!!! LOL!!!!!!

Nice bike! Makes me want to rush right out and buy one. I like my exercise bicycle, but sometimes it would be nice to ride around outside. Hmmmm...I am due for some extra money. I wonder if I can remember how to change gears?
Sorry about your sunburn. My poor mom used to sunburn so easily, sometimes even through her shirt. They didn't have sunscreen in those days.

I think parts of me are permanently tanned or is it just old skin? Since I go out walking every day, I wear a hat. I wish I could still ride a bike, but my knees refuse.
