Can You Ever Have Enough?

The answer to this question is NO! Not always. I would definitely say that we have enough pancake syrup especially considering that we may have pancakes only four times a year. I am not the person responsible for our household abundance of syrup. I am going to blame my better half. Due to the rarity of pancake consumption, by the time he decides to make some, he forgets that we already own syrup and makes a trip to the store to get some. Now we own a life time supply.

I almost went to the store to buy more mustard yesterday before I remembered that we had some in reserve. It was a good thing. I buy two at a time. We use a lot but not that much.

This is one item that I use everyday. Now the question I have regarding my tendency to hoard deodorant is: Why in the world would I spend the night in my dreams looking for my deodorant considering the fact that I am very aware of how many containers I own? Perhaps I am subconsciously anxious enough that I should pick up a couple more the next time I go shopping. Apparently, this is the one item that I can never have enough of.

hahahaha! i am that way with toilet paper and canned tomatoes. I get panicky if we get down to ONLY 6 cans of tomatoes.

One of those syrups is probably ours from the lake this summer. I distinctly remember having to go to the store to get some after we were home and thinking, "But I had a whole bottle at the lake..."

It's probably that rag-taggely one that looks like it sat in a cooler full of water.

Becky: Please help yourself to some. Just don't take the Rodgers syrup. We need that for peanut butter and syrup on buns. Only Rogers syrup works for that.

It is sooooo nice to see that someone else has the tendency to stockpile odd items. I have to constantly remind myself that I have enough at home or I tend to grab things and before you know it, I am creating bags for the Food Pantry at church.

HA HA HA! I do the same thing. I was cleaning my pantry a while ago and found that I had three BIG boxes of soda crackers in there. No wonder there was no room for anything. I have done the same thing with pancake syrup. I usually crave them when I see the stuff in the store and then buy all the ingredients over and over.

It's ok to stockpile. What's funny to me is that they are all OPEN! haha. I stockpile all the time because they are always doing that ten items for ten dollars sale around here. So, naturally, I get ten! haha.

I have the same number of things, but they are not the same. I have maple, blueberry, strawberry and butter pecan syrup. There are at least five mustards, but they are all different. I have four various deodorants, but that's due to my stupid skin problem. The one thing I always make certain I have plenty of is tunafish.

Jack laughed at this blog. He said that we Brauns all hoard things. I currently have 6 jars of pickle. They are not all the same so I don't feel like I am hoarding. I do have too many bottles of Sweet Chili Sauce, though. When we were packing to move to this house just before Christmas i had 5 bottles un-opened and 2 opened. I love this blog. I don't feel quite so weird.
