Leaving

We are leaving but we are not leaving hope behind. Good by Seattle. I will not miss your traffic.

I am glad that I got to have one more visit with Shelia.
She did enjoy Corner Gas even though the DVD player was wonky and showing everything in doubles. I have a lot of hope that we will be meeting again in a few months. I am going to miss her. I will look forward to all her stories over on her blog site. I hope she posts more about her two...no it is now three...terrorists! I think terrorist is a good descriptive tag for a cat. As I was looking at this photo, it kind of struck me that we sort of look alike. What do you think?

After the short trip through the mountains that we could not really see for the rain and fog the scenery was pretty in a wild and barren way.

At least it was when it was hilly. Eyes on the road sweetie! That blob in the center of the window is not part of the scenery. It is bird poo. I will try to remember to wipe it off tomorrow in case I want to take more pictures.

Later it flattened out. There were miles and miles of nothing. The road was great. We got a late start. John managed to stuff everything into the car. I know what to pack and what to leave behind next time. We made it to Spokane. I am sure that we will get further tomorrow. This last paragraph was a well planed out piece of work! Hahaha! It was just as scrambled as my brain.
