Traveling

Good morning from Edmonton. We had a nice evening. John enjoyed the hockey game. He got to go to the Toronto Maple Leaf vs. Edmonton Oiler game. These two teams have not played each other for two years. The Leafs won 5-2. It does not get much better than that for him. I watched on television from the king sized bed here at the hotel. It was a great game.

We are going to go to Seattle via the Calgary - Banff - Rodgers pass way. I hope to meet up with my brother and have a coffee with him in Calgary. Got to go. Talk to you later.

WHY DID THE CHICKEN CROSS THE ROAD?

Albert Camus:
It doesn't matter; the chicken's actions have no meaning except to him.

John Cleese:
This Chicken is no more. It has ceased to function. Bereft of life, it rests in peace. It's a stiff. If it wasn't nailed to the road it'd be pushing up daisies. It's snuffed it. It's metabolic processes are now history. It's bleeding demised. It's rung down the curtain, shuffled off the mortal coil and joined the bleeding Choir Invisible. This is an Ex-Chicken. Ergo, it did not cross the road.

as a long time oilers fan, normally i would be quite choked about the game last night, but since uncle john actually got to go and watch it, i'm happy for him that his team won.... glad you guys made it to edmonton before that nasty storm hit... it was pretty nuts driving home from edmonton last night
