The Western Development museum. Let the tour begin.
Noah shows grandpa how to stick your finger in the toy horses nose.
At first the horses were scary. He checked them all out to make sure they were toys. This was accomplished by knocking on them. "Hello! Anybody home?"
Noah gives me a demonstration of how the old fashioned fire truck's hose was attached and how the water came out. "Look Grandma!" "Wow!"

"I love this train grandpa! "Cheese!"

Sam takes over as my tour guide. "Grandmaa! Chickens...Chickens...Tractoor!
Chickens, Chickens!" O.K... I know that is an eagle, but who I am to burst Sam's bubble? A chicken is close enough!

Sam's favorite. The little sod house.

Outside the window, like a picture book spread out before them is a replica of a pioneer farm.
"Ohhhh! OOOOH! Chikens! Chikens! Horse...cow Chikens!"
After the 25 cent weigh in, it was decided that there was room for lunch!
Noah and Ben, feeling that the adults were taking way too long over lunch find their own diversions.
So we head outside for a sleigh ride.
"I can smell a horse!"
"Go faster horse!"
What a wonderful day!

Looks like you all had a great time. Was there something special going on at the WDM? I will have to take Chloe there.
It is good to see John able to hold Noah that way.
I love this blog. Now I know why John isn't blogging. You guys are having heaps of fun with those grandkids of yours.
So wonderful to see you guys having such a good time with your grandboys.
This looks like such a perfect family day! I'm happy for you Christine!
Reminds me of when I used to take my kids to the museums in DC. Sounds like you had a great time.
Susan: take Chloe. The kids love it. There is so much room for them to run around. The guy with the sleigh comes every Saturday afternoon. The rides are free but he does have a donation box. I am sure Chloe will make a wonderful tour guide.
Your grandson's are all so cute and looks like they all had fun. What a fun day! Thanks for sharing your family day with us!
Thanks for your comments on my blog. I will send a message to you on the other site.
Great pics! I love the WDM, we go often (year pass). The kids never tire of it. I didn't know they did sleigh rides though. Every Sat you say?
Yes, it was good times. Good. Times.
I just noticed that John is actually holding Sam up to see the horse. That is not something he was able to do until recently. Praise God for answered prayer.
I'm very curious about that post on the secrets of my fridge!!!
