Hard To Believe

It is hard to believe that summer is half over already, at least here in Canada it is. By the beginning of September all the nice weather is pretty much finished. The trees even think so and show this by beginning to turn color.

It is hard to believe that we have been back from Seattle for over half a year already and that John has finished all of the treatments that were planned for him here. It is hard to believe that in just a measly three weeks we will be on our way back to Seattle.

It is hard to believe that Abigail is already sitting up on her own and that Hannah jumps in her jolly jumper.

It is hard to believe that next week we will be moving my mom into a private care home in our town. I am not going to have to worry so much about her as the home is wonderful and they will take fantastic care of her.

It is hard to believe that my youngest son moved back to British Columbia. We will stop by for a visit on our way to Seattle. We are going to miss him but know that he is happiest there and really we don't want the cancer to have to change every bodies lives. We are so sure that he is not moving back home that we renovated his old room. That is a blog post for the near future. I got a great headboard off of kijiji today. I am so jazzed! The room looks great. Ahem...it is blistering hot today and I am to lethargic to get off my chair and take pictures... so my pretties...another day.

There have been so many changes in the last few months since we have been home. When I think about it all, it makes my head spin. We have been busy.

Time does fly and it sounds like you have been extremely busy, "is it a good busy? or I need to slow down a bit??" Sometimes I get a little overwhelmed. I like to be busy but not headspinning busy!!!

You're so much better than me. You keep up your blog in spite of Farm Town. lol The summer has gone by in a rush. In the old days I would have been getting really busy about now canning and preserving the stuff from my garden as well as any fruit I could latch onto. I miss those days. I miss being strong enough to do all of that.

My goodness, you all have been busy. It seems like summer is flying by. I can't believe it's already been over half a year since Seattle. I hope John is doing well and keeping in good spirits.

You have been busy this past few months.

Mom is sitting here while I read and she wants to know how your garden is doing. She said that if she was there she would pickle your cucumbers for you. She also said that if the frost stays away, she might be able to do that for you anyway, when she gets back home.

Wow! All of that is hard to believe. It seems like just last week that I read about you coming back from Seattle. How is he doing? I am so jazzed that my husband is a cancer suvivor since 2001! Isn't that wonderful?
