So, Today Is Thursday

I love getting parcels in the mail. It feels like Christmas. This came in from Fab grandma Karen. I won this wait book from her when she was promoting her Etsy Store.

I love it! It even came with the crayons and notebook. Her sewing is perfection.
I ordered an apron for my daughter's birthday. It is perfect as well. I give her products a resounding two thumbs up.

I have almost finished this sweater. All that is left is to sew the pockets on.
And buttons. I have to go and pick some. I don't think I want to put on red ones.

Seems like I should be writing something more but all the little birds in my head are doing is flying in circles. They are not stopping to tell me anything.

GASP! That's not my apron, but WOWZERS! I wonder if there is a machine out there that I can use to stretch Hannah out on so that she can wear that AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

I'm going to look at it again. Get ready for another GASP!

Thank you so much for the very kind words about my sewing ability! It's always nice to get a pat on the back. And I am so glad you like the apron. I loved that fabric when I saw it. Happy cooking!

What a great prize.

That sweater is adorable. Wow, you did a great job. Oh, how I wish I could do something even close.

I love red! I think the red buttons make the sweater 'pop' but I guess for a little one they don't need anything to help them 'pop'.
Little ones are so darn cute already.

Those wait books look like a nice idea. I love the little sweater. I can't wait to see it on the baby. You will have to take a picture of her wearing it when she gets here.
Are you going to make a little hat to go with it?
You could make just a basic hat and then put that yellow trim on it. It would be cute.

What's wrong with red buttons? I love red. It's my favorite color. That's why I like St. Valentine's Day so much.

I am going to let Becky pick the buttons. I am going to make a hat. There is a pattern for a matching hat. The sweater will fit her somewhere 12 to 24 months. I am not too sure. We are going to have to wait a while. Rats! John loves the sweater. He keeps telling me that I have outdone myself. LOL He is impressed with the knit lace. That was the easiest part. Shhh...don't tell him.
