Home Is Where The Heart Is

Sorry...no pictures! They are on the lap top and I don't want to be bothered moving them or firing up the lap top. I spent the day organizing my kitchen and cleaning the stove. I had not got around to that before we left so it is nice that it is finished. All that is left in the kitchen is to reorganize the fridge. I have not got everything unpacked. There is no hurray. I will work at it bit by bit a little every day.

Our appointment went well at the cancer clinic yesterday. The short of it was that it is just a bump in the road. Treatment will start Monday. You can read more about it here if you wish. It is nice to be home. I feel a little panic because Christmas is coming fast and we are not even close to being ready. We had not planned for a Christmas at home. Angela had put up the tree. I am glad for that. I probably won't bother with much more than that although I would like a few lights up outside. Maybe I will go and stick the candy cane lights up. It looks more like Christmas here. There is snow on the ground. We are back to winter. The cold is a little bit of a shock.

The dog was very happy to see us. It took a long time for him to calm sown. He figured that he should sleep on the bed. He never does that. He hardly leaves my side. He is following me all over the house. Poor dog. Angela and Mike are happy because he is leaving them alone.

So glad that you are home safe and sound and that this is just a blimp in the road :)
Aww...good ol' Roscoe! I always feel sorry for dogs. You just can't explain what is going on to them. I'm sure everyone is happy to have you back for Christmas.

Haven't been visiting my blog buddies much lately. Too much drama at home. Sorry to hear of the glitch in the treatment. It's good you get to be home for Christmas though. Thanks for the pictures of the great state of Idaho! I've only been to Couer d'Alene once when I was about 21 years old. (You know - last year.) lol Here in Southern Idaho it looks a lot like Western Washington. I hope the new treatments go well and you have a very Merry Christmas!

it must be kinda weird coming home before Christmas when you weren't planning on spending Christmas there.

the good news is that just a few deocarions (and you have a tree up!), you can get into the holiday spirit.

glad to hear the appointment went well. enjoy your weekend.

I am so glad to hear you're all back home, especially for the holidays. There's nothing like the comforts of home.

I hope everything goes smoothly on Monday.

Glad to see you made it home safely. I'm also glad the appointment went well. It is cold here, now, too. It snowed last night and is expected to get in the teens at night for the next week. I know that's probably not as cold as you get, but it's cold for us. I might have to wear a COAT! haha. I bought a new hoody but I don't have a winter coat because I seldom need one. I'll be alright, though!
Poor doggy. He must have really missed you. Probably won't let you out of his sight for some time.

Gus always drives me crazy when I have been gone. Have you ever seen Scooby Doo walk on his toes while sitting. I swear Gus can do that. I make him sit and be quiet and before I know it, he's right next to me, still sitting.
