Christmas Is Coming

I have to say, I have really outdone myself this year as far as outside decorating goes. I hauled these out of the garage yesterday and stuck them into the snow. I hope we don't get a strong wind. Maybe tomorrow I will dig out the red and green flood lights and the plastic snowman. Beautiful isn't it? Please say it is so...

I pretty much finished my Christmas shopping today. It took 10 minutes. I knew exactly what I wanted, went into the store and got it. I really lucked out. Of the two items that I bought I got the last ones that they had in the sizes and colors that I wanted. Whew! I am so glad that I did not wait until tomorrow.

This poor mouse head is waiting for his body. I asked him and he does not want to become a finger puppet. It seems that the body maker has gone AWOL! I have tried to reassure him that his body will be here soon. I still have some more heads to make. I just have to sew the eyes on his brother and then a couple of cats are next.

yep, your candy canes are very pretty. You have more decorations up than I do. Which is very easy to do because I have NONE. But, it will be easy to take them down, hahahaha.

Christmas decorations are beautiful!!!
I haven't started shopping yet! I mean I have done the teacher gifts and PSR kids because we already gave those out but I have not shopped for family or my children yet, you are sooo ahead of me, I'm jealous.

I love the candy canes. Can't wait to see the yard when you have the snowman and the flood lights up. The slippers are the best.I wish someone would make me a pair. Is that why your shopping only took you 10 minutes? All you bought was yarn? I have to shop a little more, but I think I am almost done.

I can't see the slippers, or the mouse? It happens to me more and more often lately that some pictures remain hidden to me? I wonder what causes it?
Anyway, I CAN see the candy canes, and it looks great!
And I'm glad that I'm not the only one without Christmas decoration!
I don't think it's going to happen this year!

I love the mice, but the candy canes in the snow is more than I can take.
