We did brave the cold and went to church this morning. One nice thing about coming home are all the nice warm hugs you get. A whole bunch of us stayed after and ordered pizza. We had a nice time and I did not have to cook lunch.
I am a little closer to being ready for Christmas thanks too my brother in law and sister in law who sent us a really nice care package. They sent one large box of Christmas baking and a swack of lasagna, chili and home made spaghetti sauce. They live a couple of hours away otherwise they would be wiping my slobber off of their faces already. Big hugs and kisses to you guys! Today was a day of blessings.

I hate the cold! It sounds waaaaaay too cold for me. I am glad you are getting settled in and ready for Christmas. Your ornaments look great. What is in the glass ornament? I have never seen that type of ornament, very pretty.
Lucy, it is from the dollar store and I think it is fake snow inside. They were supposed to be card holders but they are too light for that and just kept falling over.
That is so sweet of your in-laws! So sorry to hear it's so cold. That does sound miserable. I have a feeling it will be that way around these parts too very soon.

i thought it was cold here but then i heard how cold it was up in canada. brrrrr!! i don't think i could live there. i guess i'm not sturdy enough =)

I was fine until I read that. My toes and fingers have suddenly grown cold and it's creeping up my arms and legs.
And I have been complaining about the "cold' low 50's here in Phoenix. I am such a wimp.
I feel your cold. That's because it's leaking from Canada right into Idaho! And it's brought snow with it. I want to go back to Phoenix! I always miss it this time of year. lol
